Whether he’s finding creative solutions for clients, supporting the development team, or pursuing his personal quest for improvement, Kyle’s dedication and energy are unmatched. Get to know more about the person who helps keep both our customers and our team happy and thriving!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Solving problems. I love tackling complex issues by breaking them down into subsequent pieces and then coordinating a plan of attack. I also love finding the truth, the most logical explanation, and the “right answer”. I pride myself on being able to figure out just about anything.
How do you approach giving or receiving feedback?
How would I like to receive this feedback? How would I feel about this? Nice does not mean kind and sometimes people need to hear tough stuff. I just picture myself on the receiving end of feedback and make sure that I tell people things that I’d want to know. As far as receiving feedback, I love it. Again, I want to do the right thing and I can’t fix what I don’t know about so I like to take feedback in stride and improve.
How do you stay curious and keep learning?
It’s all about a pursuit of being better and finding the answers. It’s just a drive thing. Always ask why. Always be the best you can be. Life’s too short to half-ass something so go be great. Be tenacious and don’t stop.
If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?
Golf. Sheesh. I’d be much happier when I play and filthy rich if I could master it.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
St. John, USVI. Happiest place on Earth for me.
How do you define success in your role?
The success and happiness of the customer AND the development team. Ultimately, the customer/client pays us but the devs have to be happy too. We can’t be promising every feature under the sun just to make the customer happy, and we can’t fail to deliver powerful features that will move the product forward. I’m happy to be the liaison and try to keep everyone happy.

What excites you most about the future of CoApp?
I think the team. We’re all super smart people with a common goal in mind and I have no doubt that we’re going to continue to innovate and become an awesome company and awesome technology that will help lots of people and businesses.
How do you define a meaningful day?
Jimmy V said it best – “If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special.”
It’s when you sit down at the end of the day and reflect and think “wow, that was a good one”. I’d say for me, that’s when my wife and I are getting ready for bed and we’re watching a TV show like Modern Family or Schitt’s Creek, our cat Spyro cuddles up with us and I just get that feeling of contentment.
